"I am drawn to creating images that reflect the complexity and diversity of the world we inhabit, and its constant evolution."
Remnim Tayco is creating compelling art. Winner of the Young Emerging Artist's Award at the Mosman Art Prize in 2013, he has held six solo exhibitions since 2010, includingFolded Lines at Broken Hill Regional Gallery in 2015.
Remnim has found his inspiration in the techniques and subject matter of 17th century Dutch masters - the intense detail, romantic landscapes, exquisite rendering of light - all achieved through the fine application of oil paint and painstaking draughtsmanship.

In the Still of an Ordinary Day
February 4 - January 27. About a decade ago three artists, Somchai Charoen, Yiwon Park and Phaptawan Suwannakudt arrived at different times in different circumstances unknown to each other and decided to stay in the migrant society name ‘Sydney’. They were from different backgrounds and generations and each ordinary day in Sydney is always a journey which is notwithstanding trapped in their own memories and anguish in their lives. This exhibition explores each artist and their practices through the journey in the stillness of each ordinary day in Sydney.
