Ross Thornton
Ross Thornton worked for many years as an architect before making the decision to become a full-time artist. He was a finalist in the 2008 Sulman Prize at the Art Gallery of New South Wales as well as the Waverley Art Prize, also in 2008. Thornton's work has been exhibited in various group exhibitions and he had his first two-person show, with Bernd Heinrich, at Wilson Street Gallery in July 2009.
